New Year, new me?
So, it's a new year and I still haven't had time to get back on here, but have stayed quite entertained by J3's site and am tired of seeing my brother's Brontosaurus Repellant blog. I'm sure he'll have plenty to tell when he gets back from his adventures and has time for story tellin.
It's been an interesting year so far, my father's house caught fire, but no injuries, other than the poor living room and kitchen which are getting a facelift as we speak. Went home to see my brothers, it's been about 5-6 years since we were all together, and played ghetto superheroes as we cleaned the downed limbs off the roads in the neighborhood from the ice storm. Needless to say, this storm also robbed us of our power the whole weekend and shut down about 3/4 of the town. Luckily, we had heat, hot water, food, and love to get us through. The trip home straight sucked. I spit on the Oklahoma highway workers for not cleaning off Hwy 412. Our 5 hourish trip took about 8 hours, plain ridiculous and dangerous. Heather's still laughing at our off ramp/off-road experience. I still cry for my alignment and suspension.
We got a nice snow this last weekend, 6-7 inches. Had an asshole back into my car and crack the bumper, still need to get it fixed, but American Family needs statements, etc, in order to process the claim. Dude's dad even called me to find out what happened, since his son is on his insurance. Boy needs an ass whoopin if he's lyin to pops. Then, while battling the cold and making my way into the house Sun evening, I lost the detachable face to my stereo. I traced all my steps numerous times, tore up the car and house, called every place we were that evening, and still nothing. So, today I posted a sign in my apt complex thinking it might surface with the snow melting, and within a few hours, my neighbor came knockin with my bundle of joy in his hand. Thanks, bro, you've officially made 2007 more bareable.
So, as we continue to usher in 2007, let's take a minute to give praise where it's due, and make changes this year so we retain the hair left on our head. Been lookin in the mirror lately and can't believe how much is missing. But, as with age, it's popping up everywhere else and Heather's ready with the tweezers. If I grow it long enough, I'll just do comb overs from all locations, starting with my goat. Keith, keep your head up man, "bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks, lick on these nuts and suck the dick."
This year, I'll try to do better at more mass communication. Been watching Walk the Line about every time it's on TV, great movie and soundtrack. Check it out in WIDESCREEN if you've missed out. And, will Dr. Dre drop Detox this year? We've been waiting for like 5 years now. But, UGK's due to have a new one this year. Not quite as big, but could be a start.
