I was infiltrated and violated by a faceless hacker

So, after a long day's work, I head home to go through my nightly routine: check phone messages, hit the john for rectal relief, eat dinner while watching TV, and check my e-mail. The only thing different with this day's excursion was that I stared blankly at my laptop in disbelief that there wasn't a single new message in my inbox.

Okay, I'm not Mr. Popularity, but in a normal day, I get 10-20 messages, most of which are junk mail or e-bay search notifications, but still, they make me feel important. So, I chat with online tech support and find out that someone has breached my e-mail account, changed some settings, and forwarded all my incoming messages to this address infocenter_07@yahoo.co.uk. I haven't had many problems in six years, but days earlier, I had to reset my password due to my address change and new modem, a mere coincidence the problems start now? So, who knows what e-mails were lost that cannot be retrieved.

I did e-mail the account above and no surprise it got send back as invalid. These friggin hackers infiltrated me and all I can do is bent over and take it! Of course, if I ever find out who it was, I'll gladly pay the money to hop on a flight to the U.K. and "sort it out." I just hope no other harm has been done, and they haven't gained access to other things they shouldn't have.

Afternoon 07-25, The Update:

Well, I woke up this morning and tried to get online, but no luck. Mind you, I was on less than 8 hours prior, and to make an even longer story short, the securities dept had shut down access to my account at 8:47 this morning because of the breach and because my account was sending out spams, even though I had changed my password and thought things were cleared up. So, I'm back on the phone with tech support and they reset everything, including the modem which also runs the phone I was calling from, so we were disconnnected several times. Smart ones, ehh! After all this, I still couldn't get into my webmail, so they had to reset my password again and finally I'm back up. Geez, this has really sucked!

So, to those who want to hack into others accounts for the mere pleasure of spamming the world (amongst other things): You are assholes who need to get a friggin life!! I think I need to become a cyber-bounty hunter and track down these people and serve some vigilante justice. Maybe I'll pick up a copy of Hacker Quarterly today to start, or maybe I'll just continue to be bitter and cuss those who violated me. Either way, fingers crossed that nothing else has been compromised.
